Running With Stars, an annual event combining sports and entertainment, in which participants would get to run with their favourite international and local stars, would surely be a sporting event where each sport lovers as well as fans will never want to miss!
Inspired by the recent growing Malaysian’s trend for their love in marathon as well as conceptualizing the dreams of many Malaysians to be able to workout and engage in healthy exercises with their favourite international stars, Running With Stars is set to be the biggest, if not the most anticipating marathon events that has been held in Malaysia! For which encouraging more Malaysians to actively take part in outdoor exercises and to create health care awareness are our priority apart of a fun-filled event with stars. With such an extremely mouth-watering attractions to be excited about, Running With Stars will definitely be the grandest marathon event the world could offer.
Running With Stars is planned to be held twice a year. Each marathon, at least two international stars would be engaged to participate in the run along with the biggest names in the Malaysian entertainment industry. As per suggested as above, to combine sports and entertainment, after each marathon, a fair collectively known as Fun With Stars held at the same location as the race would be held in which all the local and international guest stars would be interacting with participants through a series of on-stage performances and games. Three Hong Kong stars, Ruco Chan and Samantha Ko of TVB, from hit series All That Is Bitter Is Sweet and singer-actress, Elanne Kong would grace this inaugural event. And that’s not all, participants may also check out and grab some of the exciting goods from sponsors as well as some of the play facilities for which kids would definitely love at Fun With Stars fair scheduled to be held from 10.30 a.m. onwards after the run.
And that’s not all! Exciting goodies such as a drawstring goodies bag, Dri-Fit Jersey, personalized Bib Number, ENEOS Wrist Protector, ENEOS Wrist Band, ENEOS Face Towel and finisher medals. FILA bottle for first 3000 participants and Kinohitmsu J’Pan UV-Bright Drink awaits participants too!
The inaugural Running With Stars is scheduled to be held on the 1st of March in 2015, at Sky Park @ One City, Selangor. The run would be divided into two categories, 5km and 10km. Both categories are of non-competitive. Schedules of the run are as followed:
6.30 a.m. – Assembly
7 a.m. – Warmup with stars
7.30 a.m. –Event Start
9 a.m. –Session End (5km)
10 a.m.–Session End (10km)
10.30 a.m. onwards – Activities with artists and sponsor’s product sampling
Registration of run can be made at MyRaceOnline (http://www.myraceonline.com) at these following prices: RM60 for the 5km category and RM80 for the 10km category. REPC can be done at Sky Park @ One City from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 24th of February 2015 to 28th of February 2015 and 5 – 6 a.m. on the 1st of March. Each registration includes ONE admission to Elanne Kong, Ruco Chan and Samantha Ko’s Meet & Greet session at Fun With Stars 2015.
