SYNOPSIS:

Aman and Riz are two brothers, and leaders of rival gangs living in low-cost flats in the centre of KL. When young they were inseparable. When their father died of a drug overdose, cracks formed in their relationship, this is because Riz joined a gang dealing drugs, and Aman cannot forgive Riz for selling the thing that killed their father. The two brothers became leaders of their own gang in the flats, running their illegal operations. These two gangs are sworn enemies and fights always break out between the two gangs over territory and any small matter. The older brother Riz wants to be feared by the other gangs and the flat community. He is continuously trying to crush Aman’s gang so he can be the “KING” of the flats – expanding his operation without any disturbance from Aman’s gang.

In addition, Aman’s ex-girlfriend Jojo is now married to Riz after Aman was sentenced to prison for 3 years. Jojo still has feelings for Aman but Riz helped her out with her sick mother when Aman was in jail. Therefore, Jojo feels indebted to Riz and can’t leave him. Even though Jojo reassures Riz she is loyal, but he is insecure about her past with Aman. For Aman, having Riz steal his girlfriend when he was in prison is more reason for him to hate his elder brother. Having served time in jail changed Aman’s personality and principles. He went from petty thief to learning the tricks and criminal ways that allowed him to rise to become a gang leader. Some of the flat residents are on Aman’s side and root for him, as he always helps them with their daily problems. They also want Riz’s drug operations to stop and Aman to lead the flats. They are sick of the shitty, crime-ridden conditions of the flats. But, some benefit financially from Riz’s operation and want things to stay as they are.

Things are tense, not just between the gangs, but with the flat residents. When Aman is accused of killing a respected senior gangster called Kumar, Bos X who is the leader of the whole area is forced to step in. Aman insists he is innocent and Bos X tells him to find the killer in 48 hours, if not Aman has to work for Riz. As Aman tries to uncover the truth behind the killing, he discovers that Bos X will move in and take over the flats to ensure the drug operations run smoothly without interruptions. Initially, Aman doesn’t want to take up this fight, but with the death of Boboi, a much-loved kid in the flats, Aman knows if he doesn’t put a stop to the drug operations, the whole flats will be damned.
