SYNOPSIS
Hao Hua and Xue Qing live a modest life with their son, Xiao Yun. Xue Qing, a devoted mother, is meticulous about her son’s health, preparing vegetarian meals she believes are best for him. One evening, Xiao Yun complains of chest pain. Though Hao Hua urges her to take Xiao Yun to the doctor, Xue Qing dismisses the idea, trusting her remedies. Later, worried, she searches online for health advice and finds an unsettling post by a woman named Xia, who offers lifelike dolls to simulate raising a child for grieving parents. The post stays with Xue Qing, casting a strange shadow over her thoughts. Soon after, Xiao Yun is diagnosed with a severe illness and tragically passes away. Overcome with guilt and grief, Xue Qing becomes obsessed with keeping his memory alive, even refusing to leave his ashes at the burial. Her sorrow spirals into vivid hallucinations, and Xia’s post resurfaces in her mind. As she grapples with her unrelenting guilt, Xue Qing is drawn into a world where reality and her haunting memories intertwine, testing the boundaries of love, memory, and the depth of her loss.
